The PRAYER WARRIORS of the HOLY SOULS

"The Friends of the Suffering Souls" is an organisation formed for the purpose of maintaining an uninterrupted novena of Masses for the relief and release of the souls in Purgatory. Each member is allotted a day on which that member will organise a Mass for the Holy Souls. That is the only obligation. One Mass each year. The Mass is said for all of the souls in Purgatoy but especially for deceased members. In this way a continual Novena of Masses is offered for the Holy Souls and, as each Mass is offered on behalf of the organisation, each member obtains the merit of each Mass in this life and the benefit of each Mass after death. There are no membership fees.

"The PRAYER WARRIORS of the HOLY SOULS" have dedicated themselves to pray, offer masses, do works of mercy for the intentions of the holy souls, and to recruit more members who will identify with the cause of assisting the holy souls reach their state of perfection so as to be able to enter the Kingdom of God.

The objective of this organization is:

TO CREATE AND SPREAD AWARENESS OF THE PLIGHT OF THE HOLY SOULS

Links to my Home Parish:-

My Home Parish now has a web site. In Cheltenham there are three separate Parishes with their own Churches. The original is my own Parish of St. Gregory The Great. Established in 1809. The present Church was started in 1854 and was finally consecrated in 1877.

The second Parish was established in the 1950s and the Church of the Parish is the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham,

The third Parish is St. Thomas More, Cheltenham. Their Church was built in 1966.

Cheltenham also has a Deanery encompassing seven parishes, the Cheltenham three (above) with the nearby Parishes of St. Nicholas, Winchcombe which also serves St.John Fisher at Bishop's Cleeve, the Parish of Our Lady and St.Kenelm, at Stow-on-the-Wold which also serves Our Lady Help of Christians at Bourton-on-the-Water, the Parish of St. Benet at Kemerton and lastly but not least, the Parish of St Catharine at Chipping Camden which also serves at Moreton-in-Marsh where the Mass is said in a Congregational Church whilst waiting their own Church/Mass centre to be built.

We all belong the Diocese of Clifton.

A site I have only just discovered is Inspirational Messages This site contains allsorts of things with Poerty, Stories, Humour & Quotes. It is well worth a browse through for an hour or two. I got carried away!

A prayerful site with special reference to Blessed Brother Andre of Montreal.

An excellent Catholic general knowledge site can be found at the CatholicPages site. This particular page deals with St. Joseph only. The Home page of the Catholic Pages site is HERE.

A new site has been given to me, it is in Dutch and has been set up by a Dutchman who is involved with a group of Dutch and Belgium people who are dedicated to St. Joseph. It is quite an impressive site but you do need to speak/read Dutch to understand it, although you will recognise St. Joseph wherever he may be!

They have changed their internet address. Both links below are to their new address.

They now have a page in English which gives a very good summary of their whole site.

The full Dutch site can be found from Here

.................

A new just launched St. Joseph site is now available at: St. Joseph site.

This is an excellent site very well laid out.

............

A very interesting St. Joseph site can be found at : http://www.eingedi.org/joseph.html

Plenty of reading material here.

Religious Articles, Books, plus much more can be found at:

http://www.leafletmissal.org I found the St. Joseph Cord here.

Visit Fr. Pat's Place Go to his St. Joseph's page. There you will find out all about St. Joseph's Table AND the recipes for the food!

There is lots more than St. Joseph so go and visit you will get a very nice surprise. Wonderful site.

Go for a Visit to Mr. Mom's site. Prayers, Poems, you name it, he's got it! I haven't manages to get through all his site as yet but you go visit. I am sure you will like it.

You like the Latin prayers?? Here is a site to visit Prayers in Latin (and English) You will find several "Little Offices" here new

Saint Benedict Center. This is their Site Map page which lists all the various pages of their output. They really do have a lot of information on this site.

Their Main Home page is found here.

The Saint Benedict Center is a Catholic Religious Order dedicated to a twofold mission: the defense and propagation of the dogma of Faith, extra ecclesiam nulla salus (outside the Church there is no salvation) and the conversion of the United States of America to the One True Faith.

It is at this site that we find the life story of Blessed Brother André of St. Joseph. He is the founder of Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal in Montreal, Canada.

The life story of Blessed Brother André is also available from the Main Index.

These sites are well worth visiting. If you are interested in St. Joseph, then the life story of Blessed Br. André makes good reading. If you are feeling down - then read it.

The next one is the Mystical City of God site. Here you will find the Book of that name by Blessed Mother Agreda. If you go to book 5 chapter 4

you will find The Death of St. Joseph. Again, this makes good reading. (The whole book is good reading, but we are dealing here with St. Joseph so I will not ask you to read the whole thing).

The Death of St. Joseph is also available from the Main Index. Thanks and acknowledgments to the Mystical City of God site for their kind permissions.

Like the Saint Benedict Center, the Mystical City of God is very much more than just one book. It really is worth a visit.

A mainly Rosary site called The Trial of America can be accessed at: Rosary group

A Prayer Group centered at Douai Abbey which belongs to the Benedictines of Woolhampton, Reading, Berkshire, England.

The group is dedicated to St. Joseph. You can join to say a few prayers, or just browse along to see what they are up to. You can also page over to the Main Douai Abbey web site from the prayer group, or go from here.

The following links do not have Official Approval as yet. However, may I state the following:
Where links are to sites relating to Apparitions, interior Locutions etc. :-

Regarding holiness of individuals, or other supernatural matters I in no way presume to anticipate the judgment of the Holy Church. In conformity with the decree of Pope Urban VIII, purely human credibility applies.

Pope Urban VIII : "In cases which concern private revelations, it is better to believe than not to believe, for, if you believe, and it is proven true, you will be happy that you have believed, because our Holy Mother asked it. If you believe, and it should be proven false, you will receive all the blessings as if it had been true, because you believed it to be true."

Pope Paul VI , on October 14, 1966 confirmed the decree of the Sacred Congregation for the propagation of the Faith, under number 58/16(A.A.S.), permitting the publication of writings about supernatural apparitions, even if they do not have a "nihil obstat" from ecclesiastical authorities.

I visit these sites on a regular basis and they have certainly made me more aware of God in all His Majesty - and I pray a lot more. So I say thank you to these sites for all the help and insight they have and are, giving me and my wife.

I use a web site management program called CyberSpyder Link Test. It verifies all the URL's on my site and checks for any broken links. I find it extremely useful - especially as I have just moved ISP. :
