Prayer to St. Joseph {4}

[Published prayer see below]

Saint Joseph whose protection is so great, so strong and so prompt, before the throne of God I place all my interest and desires.

O Saint Joseph, by your powerful intercession obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings, (your request) through Jesus Christ, Our Lord so that having engaged here below you heavenly power I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers.

O Saint Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms I dare not approach while he reposes near you heart. Press him in my name and kiss his fine head for me and ask him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph patron of departing souls, pray for us.

Amen.

Say three Our Fathers, three Hail Mary's and three glory be's.

Whoever shall keep a devotion to St. Joseph, all their prayers will be answered.

Whoever says this prayer or reads it, will never die in a fire or be drowned.

This prayer was sent to me by Carole. Thanks.

Would you please publish the following prayer. I found it on the back of

a holy card to Saint Joseph. It was in the possession of my wife before

she passed away. My sons would like to say this prayer with me for the

nine mornings that the card indicates but I have not been able to find

more holy cards with the prayer on the back. If you publish it here,

then they could print it out and have copies of their own. Thank you.

Here it is:

[Prayer to St. Joseph Nr 4 printed above]

This prayer was found in the fiftieth year of Our Lord and

Savior Jesus Christ. In 1505, it was sent from the Pope to Emperor

Charles when he was going into battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or

hear it or keep it about themselves, shall never die a sudden death, or

be drowned, nor shall poison take effect on them; neither shall they

fall into the hands of the enemy, or shall be burned in any fire or

shall be overpowered in battle.

Say for nine mornings for anything you may desire. It has never

been known to fail, so be sure you really want what you ask for.

Joseph M. Ball.
