INTRODUCTION.

My name is Harry Holbrook {in full : Henry Francis Dominic Holbrook.}

I live in Cheltenham, England, but I was born in Ballycastle Co. Antrim in Ireland many years ago.

My life story is very simple : School, Radio Officer (Sparks) in the Merchant Navy for 11 years then the civil service. I retired just a few of years ago.

St. Joseph almost seems to be the forgotten Saint these days. Especially on this here Internet.

I think he must have read this and decided to do something about it. There does seem to be quite a bit more about St. Joseph around these days. Although some of the sites have a LOT of graphics/pictures of him - and still under construction.

I started looking on the Internet for information on St. Joseph some time ago [July '97]. At that time I found very little - a couple of prayers and one school. (I seem to have lost that school now).Having become a member of the Pious Union of the Death of St. Joseph, I decided to try and format a few pages here on the Web and dedicate the site to him. In the Pious Union they do ask that you try and promote St. Joseph as well as give Alms to charitable works in St. Joseph's name.

I have also added a new page - Information requests with Replies. The information is about St. Joseph - so if you have any queries drop me an Email and I'll put it on the page for you.

If anyone would rather I remove their URL then a simple E-mail to me will be enough for me to act. Conversely, if they would like their URL to be included just E-mail to me and it shall be done.

The HOW & WHERE:

I am now using Star Office to produce the HTML. At first I used Microsoft Front Page - but I got fed up with it. I have found that Star Office does all I want and does it easily. I got it at the same time as LINUX. I am only learning to use Linux. Being an ex-programmer I find it interesting! I still have not manage to get on the net with it though!!! I keep leaving it for another day - tomorrow - it never seems to come these days.

The WHERE for these graphics have come from various free sources including Star Office.

And the submit to 40 search engines I got via the The Mystical City of God Web site.
